New Smyrna Beach Surf Legends

New Smyrna Beach is home to some legendary surfers of all ages. Guys like Charley Baldwin (founder of Inlet Charley's Surf Shop), Randy Richenberg and Terry Presley led the initial charge back in the 60's and 70's, putting New Smyrna Beach on the map, while a younger generation of guys like Steve Anest, Dwayne Maki, Ron Hope, and Joe Surbaugh paved the way for the "New Schoolers" such as Dave Chambers and the infamous Gorkin, to totally shake things up.

We can only wait and see where future legends like Devon Tresher, Eric Geiselman and his younger brother Evan will take the sport.
